At the end of 41 years of war, the country of Angola is entering a new season of peace and reconstruction. The conflict scattered people from their traditional homes and forced missionaries out of the country. Now that the war is over, Angola is developing faster than any other African nation, but millions still live in poverty. The combined effects of the prolonged war, western aid, rapid development, and desperately poor living conditions have left the people hungry for change and receptive to the Gospel.

We are currently forming a mission team for long term mission work in Angola. We are planning a second survey trip to Angola in June 2008 in order to see how God is already working, and how this team might best serve Him there in the future. We would love to talk to you more about the opportunities in Angola. We are excited about God's work in this nation!
